6 Bolt motors

Hey guys its been a while since I have posted on here but I finally got a GSX and I have been looking around for a 6 bolt motor. I have found a lot of them but I was curious to see where everyone on here got theirs and how much they paid and also if they are happy with it or not. Thanks in advance for the help.

Whats wrong with the 7 bolt in it now? Did it already crankwalk?

No it hasnt CW'd yet but I believe I am like the fourth owner on the car and I know one of them did a few mods to the car because it has an ACT 2600 in it and from the time I have already spent under the car and in the car that someone didnt know what they were doing when they worked on it....so I would rather just get a new motor before I have anything major happen to this one.

$5000 for mine. Bulletproof motor and TRE racing tranny.

I paid a little over $1500 for mine shipped off of ebay(complete longblock with everything). Havn't got it yet, let alone get it installed. But I will post how it works and looks(condition recieved) when I am done. Maybe even get some pics of the swap.

Was it from like this guy? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-4...53215102QQrdZ1 That's pretty cheap considering it comes with everything. What turbo came on that engine? Actually, I don't even see a turbo on that.

Yeah that is the company I got it from.

if you look close you can see a turbo hanging off of the front. I am not sure what turbo it is, I assume a 14b since it is a 6-bolt, but I dont know. I will find out when it gets to my parents house and I can get up to Riverton to check it out. And if it doesnt have one or its isn't any good, then I will just slap the t-25 on again.

Did you not read the whole post? I said if it wasn't there or not any good I would slap my t-25 on.

I checked out that link and it doesnt look like it comes with a turbo and it lists that it comes with the manifolds and gaskets and everything but it doesnt list turbo.

Are all 4G63t motors built in japan because I thought that they were produced here in america if it came out of a Talon or Eclipse so would that motor technically be a jdm motor. I thought that the JDM motors came out of either a GVR-4 from japan or an EVO 1-3 but those are 7 bolt motors.

Does anyone know about the motors that are offered from SBR?
