removing door and front fender 91 s10

The local junk yard is having a sell all you can carry for $25.00 and I need a door and fender for my 91 S-10.
Is really that hard to remove them?
Is there any special tricks I need to know to remove them.
Do I need any special tools?

Bring some penetrating oil and spray all the fender bolts when you get there. You don't have to remove every bolt that you see. I don't have a camara here so I can't show you what bolts stay on.

Use a BIG hammer and a selection of punches to knock the door pins out. This job ie easy.
Use a new pin and bushing kit in the door when you replace it.

I've seen 2 people load up an old hood or even canopies full of goods, and carry them the 20 or 30 required feet. This usually costs double, but you can really take home a lot of stuff then.

I've never heard of such a thing. I wish our boneyard would do that. Sounds fun!!

Re: removing door and front fender 91 s10

Removing the doors are easy ... knock the pins out with a BIG hammer (as suggested above) and make sure you have a long punch or screwdriver that has the tip cut off (the pin has a point on the end so i use an old screwdriver without the tip).

Removing the fenders involve about 10-12 bolts in various places. The hard ones are the bolts connected to the rad saddle (these are accessible from under the truck) and don't forget about the single bolt at the bottom of the fender between the wheel well and the door (again this one is accessible from under the truck) and the bottom bolt connected to the rad saddle (it is behind the bumper) ..... All the rest are pretty easy to get at.

what is the best way to remove the plastic pins that are holding the cover to the inside of the door. I do not want to break them off.

For the door panals, there is a tool you can get at the parts store for this. The name eludes me at the moment, but it looks like a 2 pronged fork with about a half in space between the prongs.
Or if you're looking for a slightly cheaper way, you could always go for the screw driver aproach. Some of them will take a decent amount of pressure, but the best way not to break any of them is to take your time.
The parts store should sell those push in clips for the door panel as well if you do happen to break them.
