finally decided what motor I want
After much debate between a stroker or a 2.0 I finally decided that the 2.1 destroker looks like the best option. Its the best of both worlds, you can rev it to 10k+ and it has make over 800whp and powered dsms deep into the 10s. Anyone have an opnion on this?

Re: finally decided what motor I want
Its not even that I want to rev high, just reading about this motor gave me a hard on. I'll probably end out with a 6 bolt with 2g pistons and 1g rods about a guy can dream can he

Re: finally decided what motor I want
Why not build a 2.0L first then worry about that later or are you planning to run 10s right away? A 2.1L better get you further than 10s.
To get to the power where you need the extra .1L you really wont even care anyways. Look at Shep, somewhere around 12-1300hp and he is still 2.0L and running 7s on top of that. I'd suggest putting the extra money towards something more usefull and just build a 2.0L. |
