would it be possible to put a sportshift transmission (or the likes) in a 240SX? Or would it be overly expensive and not worth it? thanks

It sounds like u are rocking an automatic tranny...Buy the SR20det or CA18det its all the horsepower you will need (worth the time and money). you can convert it to a manuel if your too tired of guys laughing at you cuase they're assuming that you can't drive stick. the sport shifts that you can afford probrably won't be much different then a auto tranny. you might as well get a real manuel with a clutch. there are sooo many more different ways to drive if your got a true stick. for example, you will never be able to heel toe with a tiptronic. i've been practicing that for a good month now and i'm finally gettin the hang of it.

word I've been practicing for about a month as well. I can do it, but not nearly as fast as it should be. I'm still trying to get it faster but there is so much to do at once it's to much to think about. I just about T-boned somebody yesterday while trying it on the street. I had been practicing in the wal-mart parking lot at night and decided to try it on the street once. This was last night about 9 pm, I was driving down the road and the turn was coming up and I hit the brakes to late, so I was still going way to fast into the corner. There was somebody sitting in a turn lane on the road the I was going onto and when I turned onto the road I just about hit him. I was so lucky that I didn't hit that guy. I'm never trying it on the street again, at least until I have it perfected
