99Tahoe Questions.
I am going to change the intake and exhaust on my 99 4dr Tahoe with a 5.7L engine. For the intake i'm looking at the K&n 77series or the AEM Brute force. does one perform better than the other or are there better performing systems? i haven't decided on the exhaust yet but i'm planning on putting a true dual system on it. I want the best performance and gas mileage possible, and i want awesome sound too. and when it gets into the high rpms i dont want it to sound like a loud fart. What mufflers/pipes do you all suggest? What other simple bolt on parts can improve my performance/gas mileage?
-also on a side note i want to put a 6in suspension lift on it with some 35's on the wheels. What lift kits do you suggest? i want to do it all myself. i have a friend with access to a shop and i plan to do it there. all feedback is welcome |

Re: 99Tahoe Questions.
Im not sure about any of the performance parts you asked about., but with a six inch lift and 35s i would suggest some type of chip or programmer, and youll probably want to change out you differential gears. Are you wanting to do a body lift or Im assumming you want a suspension lift. Heres a pretty good site fo suspension and probably everything else you need.
