Rear speakers
I have a 98 GTP and the rear speakers do not work. I did locate the Amp but I am not sure how to check if it is dead. Is there a fuse that controls the amp? If so where? Kinda sucks not to have any low end with my music.

Re: Rear speakers
There should be a fuse in the engine compartment on the main power line for the amp. The main power line should come directly off of the positive battery terminal, it should not be far from there. The amp should have a fuse on it somewhere as well. I hope this helps.

Re: Rear speakers
Rear speakers are a common problem for going bad. Before getting too far into Amp wiring tracing, try disconnecting one of the rear speaker wires from the trunk, and hook a couple jumper wires to the harness to another known good speaker. If it works, your speakers are bad. Best Buy (and I'm sure other electronic retailers) sell a speaker harness for putting aftermarket speakers in your car for about $6, so you don't have to cut the factory plug off. I put some Pioneer 6x9's in mine, and it sounds awesome.

Thanks guys for the help. I will check this out this weekend. It's funny these things are mentioned. I work for comcast tech support and we talked about the same thing you guys did, hehe.
