Arrow HELP 1992 Safari armrest

I need help! I have a 1992 Safari with factory bucket seats with armrests. I wish to replace the seat covers but I can not find out anywhere what the trick to get the armrest off. I tried every trick that I know. Any one have any suggestions?

Re: HELP 1992 Safari armrest

I'm not exactly sure on that one, but to remove most arm rests, you need to push in on the pivot of the arm rest, (toward the seat). While keeping pressure on the arm rest, at the same time, rotate it in the direction of folding it up, past vertical, then pull it straight out, away from the seat. Others are removed by un-zipping the cover and removing the pivot bolt. Some have a plug that pops out and you access the pivot bolt straight in. One of these methods should work for you.
