700r4 auto bellhousing bolts
hey guys, as you may know im in the process of swapping out trannys in my 91 350 camaro, and am in need of assistance once again...
i am having trouble getting the top bellhousing bolts out, what is the best approach to take.. 1. from the top of the car, and try to get them inbetween the firewall or 2. from underneath and just try to feel them, and put the socket on the bolt. how many Top bellhousing bolts are there, i got the ones that you can see, i just need the ones you cant see then im pretty much done. thanks alot fellas. -tim

Oh iiiii remember that....what a pain in the ass. I did mine from the top. Other than getting someone with a pair of really tiny hands, someone to hold a bright a** light and some choice profane words, I have no other suggestions. lol

well what I did on my car was get a 3 ft extension (or piece a bunch of em together if you dont have one) and get them from the bottom...but thats for my car (same tranny though). I might have more room than you underneath.

Top is the easiest way with a open end wrench and possibly tapping of a hammer or some prying with a strong screw driver on the end of the wrench.
