Re: First model in 6 years Skyline GTR V-spec

That's the same exact one I have :-D. I'll watch you do it first.

P.S.
It'd be easier for viewers if you used the image tag
([IMG]**[/IMG]) so that they don't have to look at it from a different window or anything.

Nice, just like my 1:1 car, except mine is blue. I love Skylines, can't wait to see the end product!

Re: First model in 6 years Skyline GTR V-spec

Ok more progress made almost everything painted including all the black parts (not shown) ...

Interior done, black detail and flocking next

More shots of the exterior few problem areas removed and final "wet" coat put on

Bottom with body color areas painted getting the black and aluminum parts is gonna be hard lots of masking

Also started a new project Ferrari Daytona Spyder from Revell but no pics yet still in sanding and priming stage, will try to get some more pics after bottom is finished and suspension pieces assembled.

That looks really good! Some clear will compliment that gray nicely! I love what you did with the bottom part of the car! What kinda paint is that?

Re: First model in 6 years Skyline GTR V-spec

So far everything has been done with Tamiya sprays I don't have an airbrush. But warm them up and they really done spray probably as good as I could get with an airbrush.

Re: First model in 6 years Skyline GTR V-spec

Ahhh my favo Skyline
This car just has to be painted purple (IMO) as the box art suggests.
Your build looks great so far, good luck with the rest.

Wheels with calipers painted red thought they went nice with the silver color
