WIP: Skyline GTR V-spec (UPDATE)
Ok after reading through this forum got me back into modeling know have about 10 to build and I am starting with a Tamiya Skyline GT-R V-spec painted TS-17 Silver and either black or dark grey interior, still waiting for my flocking to arrive
So here are some pics you can even see part of the spray booth for my apartment does pretty good job about 85 to 90 percent of fumes The chassis and tub primered ![]() Body Painted ![]() ![]() ![]()

That's the same exact one I have :-D. I'll watch you do it first.
P.S. It'd be easier for viewers if you used the image tag ( [IMG]**[/IMG]) so that they don't have to look at it from a different window or anything.

Nice, just like my 1:1 car, except mine is blue. I love Skylines, can't wait to see the end product!

Ok more progress made almost everything painted including all the black parts (not shown) ...Interior done, black detail and flocking next ![]() More shots of the exterior few problem areas removed and final "wet" coat put on ![]() ![]() Bottom with body color areas painted getting the black and aluminum parts is gonna be hard lots of masking ![]() Also started a new project Ferrari Daytona Spyder from Revell but no pics yet still in sanding and priming stage, will try to get some more pics after bottom is finished and suspension pieces assembled. |

That looks really good! Some clear will compliment that gray nicely! I love what you did with the bottom part of the car! What kinda paint is that?

So far everything has been done with Tamiya sprays I don't have an airbrush. But warm them up and they really done spray probably as good as I could get with an airbrush.

This car just has to be painted purple (IMO) as the box art suggests. Your build looks great so far, good luck with the rest. Mike.........

Well alot of progress made
Exterior has wing done and has clear coat applied no pictures yet to wet to handle...Chassis done, was not getting good results masking so is done by brush not 100% but looks 90% or so and since will not be seen much in display

Front Suspension Broke one support putting wheel on and to make it stay glued the front wheels no longer turn

Wheels with calipers painted red thought they went nice with the silver color

Interior 85% done and floor and shelf flocked, need to clean up a bit and not entirely happy with the black accents but already glued so moving on
