Lid is driving me nuts

Ok so i just got the new SLP air lid for my car. Everything went smoothly until i hit a bump. How the hell do u "loosen the worm screw cap on the throttle body" is it that lil ring kinda thing. And 1 more question. They tell you to remove the negative battery terminal I didnt know this was needed. And do you have to loosen the 3 plugs also. The MAF,ATI, and there's this other one to. HELP

Re: Lid is driving me nuts

ATI?
You lost me.

The 'ring' I believe you are talking about should be about 3-3.5 inches around. Actually a clamp. Use a flathead to loosen it.

To remove just the lid?? Only the IAT sensor needs removed. MAF can stay on the MAF...unless you are removing that.

Pics of the problem areas might help.

Re: Lid is driving me nuts

Can i just use the installation tips on install university. They seem a little easier and actually show you pics. Are the whisper lid and the SLP the same installation basically. What would you guys suggest.
