1994 tahoe stalls
hello I am new to automotive forums. I have a 94 blazer/tahoe and while driving down the road a few days ago it stalled on me. I pulled off the road and it started back up and I went on my way. This morning it will fire up, run for about 5 sec. and then dye out. I replaced the fuel pump 4 months ago and this morning I replaced the fuel filter. I also checked the oil pressure/fuel pump switch but it seems to be working?? Any suggestions?? Thank you

Re: 1994 tahoe stalls
I would check the fuel pressure and see what it reads. Should be around 50-65 psi, if its below 30 it may be the fuel pump. I would see if its getting gas first before anything else. Also, if the engine light comes on see what the code reads. It may be running lean because I had the same problem with my Tahoe. Good luck!!!

Re: 1994 tahoe stalls
Fuel pressure on a 1994 should only be about 13 psi, the higher fuel pressures listed by the other post are for a vortec motor, '94 has tbi. Check your egr valve to make sure that it is not stuck open.
