01GT Vs Modded 91 Supra Turbo?

A friend of mine (yet another I actually hate) wants to race his 91 Supra Turbo which has some mods against my 01GT. Anybody know what times these 91turbos run stock and what kind of HP numbers they are putting down?

Re: 01GT Vs Modded 91 Supra Turbo?

1991 Toyota Supra Turbo 7.1 15.6

That's stock, so probably somewhere around 180-190hp.

Doh I guess it could be. If it is I apologize. I am just deciding if it would be worth our time to race on the strip, or if we should just race on the street.... If it wont be close I wont bother going to the strip with him.

auto or manual? if its modded a bit, you can see 14s as the the turbo models responds well to bolt ons, stock 3.0 I6 Turbo 232 bhp, 254 lb-ft., it should be a close race considering drivers, etc etc..

If it only has 232BHP it wont be close unless I give him some lengths. My car has full boltons n20 and a cam with D/Rs and a beefed up rear end...

well obviusly it depends on how much he's modded

i knew a guy who had a 92, putting down 530rwhp

turbo was the size of my head. stock they can run high 14's it really depends on what he has done, without that info, your question is blank

Doesn't matter what he has... you just got to know one thing...

Does he have a wing and neons??? Maybe some dragon decals?

If he does, stay home that night... you don't want to mess with it... fo sho!

Those things weigh like 4000 pounds. I think you could take him if he's lightly or even moderately modded.
