AMT/ERTL '36 Ford Coupe..Box Stock

Well, this was my first build in about 15 years. I built a Stingray when I was around 10 or 11 and am now getting into the hobby as a 'quit smoking' distraction. Needless to say, it has worked. I started this model in about December and am about done now (quit smoking in Dec. too). Just some minor touch ups needed. I have a son on the way and made this for his room.

The pictures are horrible (I just got the camera and don't know how to use it well), but the interior and engine are detailed with only parts from the box. I removed some parts I thought looked bad (like the spare on the back), but pretty much kept it simple.

edit* I have some better pictures I think. I'll be be replacing these ones soon.

From what I can tell from the images, it looks pretty good for your first build in 15 years. If you're using a digital camera, check to see if it has a macro function... that helps sharpen details of close up pictures. I also use a mini tripod to help combat blurriness. Anyway, welcome back to hobby and good luck with giving up the smoking habit!

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm definately excited to be back into the hobby. Now I just have to decide what I want to build next. I prefer 80s and 90s cars, but got the 36 to get started again. I wasn't really sure what was gonna happen
