There have been conversions done to make this possible, but there are no RWD DSM's from the factory. Only FWD and AWD are available.

Diamond Star Motors. IIRC, there was something that got the 4g64 that was RWD that you could mate to a 4g63. Not sure if I am remembering right, I still have that head splitting headache.

 Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order. The Purple People Eater will ride again... January 2011 can't come soon enough.

the Starion/Conquest had the 2.6L SOHC 4G54 from the factory.

Burschur Racing does have a RWD conversion for those who have the $$$$ and time. i'd do it, i estimated $4500 for the whole conversion from awd to rwd from BR. I'd do it!
