Question

Whats the difference between a torque arm and a traction bar?...what would be better to help me launch of the line?

Torque arm. Much stiffer making much better weight transfer to the rear end of the car. I went with an adjustable UMI tunnel braced piece.
Traction bar appears to be something more aimed towards trucks. I don't believe you can get one for the T/A. At least I have never seen one.
