Loses power after warmup

I have a '89 Camaro RS , 8 cyl, 305. Car starts up fine, and runs fine, for about 15 minutes. Then while in drive or reverse the engine sputters and I have to hold the pedal all the way down to slowly pick up any speed. When I put the vehicle in Park, it idles and rev's fine. Whats causing this ?

Have the ignition control module tested, multiple times.

But you should also check your cap, rotor, plugs, vacuum hoses, and timing. All of which should only take about an hour(give or take).

Re: Loses power after warmup

Thanks for the info, this seems to be where the problem originates from, I'll change the fuel filter to.

Talking Re: Loses power after warmup

Found the problem, throttle body gasket got sucked into the intake. Car runs great, gotta start watching out for speedo tickets again.
