is it possible....

Is it possible that a transmission shop can take out the motor when trying to reinstall a transmission?

My buddies FC is dead... figure that it is the rear bearing that's kicked the bucket.

Clutch and PP where fucked when we got it rebuilt. so took the one out of the 88 for a replacement as couldn't afford a 1800dollar rebuild of the stupid thing...

But, is it possible that they screwed the motor. as 3 weeks ago it was in the shop and 2weeks ago it crapped out after 800kms, on rebuilt tranny.

I don't see what they could have done that would have caused the engine to let go. I think it was just that time and it decided to quit, unless you can see where they have messed around with the engine its self I doubt they did anything to cause the failure.
