Exclamation high idle and stalling

I got a 1988 camaro, 2.8 mpfi. Last summer, I rebuilt the engine and within the last few weeks it has been idling really high. It doesn't matter if the engine is hot or cold. When I go to start, it idles really high 2000-3000, and sometimes when I put it in drive the whole car kicks really bad. When the engine is cold and I start driving the engine makes a poping sound coming from the air cleaner and it will harly go anywhere. After it warms up it will run fine. Done the code reader and got 22 and 34. Any suggestions.
