Sounds turboed
Huh, I guess my throwout bearing is going out... if I slam into second gear (etc...)... there's a short squealch... sounds a lot like a blow-off valve... it doesn't happen when you hold the clutch in, or when you rev the engine... so I'm guessing it's the throw out... I thought it was pretty neat, b/c it only "blows off" under hard core shifting... dropping into gear from redline and what-not... what do you guys think?

Re: Sounds turboed
Sounds like you have a belt slipping somewhere.

Re: Sounds turboed
Well, it's only when I redline and shift... when I'm coming off of the clutch... so, I'm pretty sure it's clutch related... and I assume the throwout bearing... I'm not really sure though... it's quit doing it all the time recently...
