Hobby stores in Miami?
Hi fellows.
I'm going to Miami next week and I want to check with you if there are any good stores to visit. I'm mostly interested in stores that carry detailing supplies and after market products but good shops with a lot of kits would of coarse also be interesting. Any tips? /Joel

Re: Hobby stores in Miami?
I was in Miami last month for vacation. I visited two hobby shops while I was down there, one was in Fort Lauderdale, the other in Miami (so they're not particularly close together). The one in Fort Lauderdale is RC Hobbies (don't let the name deceive you) they have lots of kits, some of which are pretty obscure. The one in Miami is Micro Macro Mundo Hobby Store (try saying that 3 times fast
). They are a Tamiya distributor, so they have stacks and stacks of kits, 5-6 of the same kit, but they do sell retail, and at wholesale prices . Neither shop is fabulous for finishing supplies, but there are lots in the area that I didn't get a chance to visit. I found these by going to Tamiya USA and locating a dealer. Here are the ones for Florida. Have a great trip, enjoy the weather! |
