MY God youre a butcher using a dremel to open door that is a stupid thing to do(i know from experience) a good way to go is by using the back of your hobby knife or nylon sewing thread you can easily thrash a body with a dremel. if youlive in the sates or canada you can pick up car modeler 2002

good call. I have that issue and it shows you how to make hinges for doors, trunks & hoods step by step. great issue well worth the cover price of about $8US. it would be too much for anyone to explain the article on the forum. its best if you got the issue yourself.

I'm not sure if you can still salvage the Monte Carlo after dremeling it though. post some pics of the car so we can see. you must have huge gaps to fill when you try to put it back together. might be better off just starting on another model that wasnt butchered by power tools. good luck.

It doesn't seem too hard, I think. I assume you can just go to the hardware store and purchase some hinges for under 5 bucks. You can get the type that are one piece, or the kind that use one side that grips, and one side with a bar kinda like <- if that is a good example.

While you're at it, might be a neat idea to make suicide doors.
