Suby colors on a DSM. Looks sweet! Did you keep the AWD? Keep up the great work!

Re: finished 99 eclipse drag car

u should try to make ur own turbo manifold, then it will look more like a race car.

Wow!!
I think this is the first time I have seen a dial-in time on a scale model!!
Very cool!
Great engine detailing, but why isn't the the engine bay body-color?

Re: finished 99 eclipse drag car

thanks for the comments guys.. This kit is AWD, I put slicks on all four tires. As for the engine bay being black i had planned that... All my kits have body matched bays but not every real car has a body matched bay (considering this isn't a stock color),,, plus being a drag car they wouldn't tear it all down to paint the bay... I'm just getting into scratch building things but i did think about making a manifold for sure.. maybe next model,, did you guys notice the exhaust?

Eclipse is an American car. It was made in Illinois.

More specifically, the Mitsubishi Eclipse and Eagle Talon (which are basically the same car aside from the bumpers) were all designed and built in the U.S. in a joint venture between Chrysler and Mitsubishi. Most were sold here, while a few were exported to Europe and Japan.

Nice looking model btw.

True, I left it out because this model is a 2G, but yeah, they can be pretty quick too.
