Standard Transmission

Hey guys, I'm looking to do a transmission upgrade on my Fbody, but am curious, before I start, to talk to someone about this, preferably someone who has already completed one. Basically I'm looking to take my automatic tranny out and swap with a standard, and am wondering how much trouble it is, to find the necessary parts and to make the swap.

Thanks for any info.

Re: Standard Transmission

i have a t5 and like it but alot of ppl say its not all that strong if you are going to upgrade to a 350 or larger... alot of ppl love the tremec(sp?) and the t56 6spds that the 4th gens had. Im not sure what all is involved in the swap myself tho.
