I want a SRT-4 killer!

hey guys... i'm gonna buy a EG hatch soon... and i want my hatch to spank Srt-4's of couse i'm gonna boost it unless there's a kick ass motor i don't know about that well spank a srt-4? my question is... what setup should i go with? b16? b18? b20? what turbo would you put on these motors to kill a SRT-4? i'm prolly gonna put 10g's into the hatch when on done..so0o if you guys got any sugestion for me that would be great..i also heard that a B18a is begging for boost... should i just boost it and keep it with stock guts? well that combo spank a SRT-4? Thanks

Re: I want a SRT-4 killer!

stock B18C1 w/ a GT3076R turbo on a Spoolin Performance Quick 4 mani tuned on Chrome....that's what i'm looking at and that'll definately beat an SRT or Evo or whatever you want to race. That set up should put you at around 350whp or so on a good tune....could be more but it'd be a little riskier than i'd like....

Re: I want a SRT-4 killer!

10gs into a hatch and if you cant beat a SRT-4 you should be ashamed...but if you do want that 350whp your going to have major traction problems...

Re: I want a SRT-4 killer!

4k for the turbo, 2 for the engine, 2 for the car, and 2 for random things and you have an SRT serial killer on your hands.....

Re: I want a SRT-4 killer!

LS, i/e/50 shot...bye bye srt...mostly stock ofcourse but i still pulled em.

anyway if you are really serious about this and have the funds and knowledge i would suggest going k20 you would not need boost at all even for some decently modified srt's

Re: I want a SRT-4 killer!

the SRT4 has a better base to start from than any civic,RSX, or teg you will find.

Re: I want a SRT-4 killer!

they have a better base because they have a bigger engine to start w/ and its already built for boost....that's not to say that Hondas can't be fast, it just takes more work....

Re: I want a SRT-4 killer!

you could build a ls vtec with a 12:1 compression, sleeve and bore 86.5mm. get aggressive cams and the right tranny and you should be faster than the srt (if its stock).

Not really. If I'm going to get into a 3000 pound platform it god damn well better be AWD or RWD.

They've been out for 3 years with that superior platform and have yet to break out of the 11's. In the same time frame that they've been out, the fastest street hondas have gone from 10.00's to 9.50's for some cars in T4, street based cars on a street sized slick. Yeah, those SRT's busting out bottom 11's that can't break out past 130 MPH are just a wicked killer platform. You could stuff a stock sleeved GSR with pistons/rods into a lighter EG hatch, and with some good driving and a well thought out setup could run faster on drag radials and pump gas than any SRT in the world.
