oil change light
2003 TrailBlazer 6 cyl, 37,000 miles (just out of waranty). After changing the oil, I tried to reset the oil change light by turning ignition key to run and then pumping accelerator 3 times in 5 seconds. The light will not reset. I have done this previously with success. But now, it will not work. A radio talk show host (a very good mechanic) suggested pumping 5 times in 5 seconds, turn the key to off and then back on. Still no success. Can some one help please?? Thanks, Joe

Re: oil change light
reevesjo, i got my light to go off finanly. I had to turn the ignition to the run position, push the gas pedal down and hold it for 1 second, release it and quickly push it down and hold it again for the 2nd and 3rd time. after that, i left the ignition on until the light went out, and it reset then.
