Help!?!? Is the WRX worth it?

I finally sold my car and now i can start thinking about the next car i want to get.......right now i am thinking the Subaru WRX or a 2000 civic si. i know it seems like an easy pick but im not really sure. i want to do lots of mods to the car and im not sure if the WRX is worth putting all that money into it...... Also, if i do get this car i know nothing about this car..maybe you experts out there can clue me in on some stuff like whats this thing you call a 22b. and does anyone out there know if they are going to make a two door WRX because i would like to put racing seats in my next car and i dont think the racing seats would look very good with the car being four door.....sorry for the length....i hope you guys can help me out on this subject. thanks

well the wrx is very good bang for buck wise. regarding aftermarket mods, there is a pretty large market right now and is increasing, but the Si is a honda and well, it's a honda. the 22b everyone refers to is a limited edition?, modified wrx. the wrx is faster than the Si, but if you've always been into honda's, then you might just love the Si, but I say go for a test drive and then make your decision. the aftermarket support for both cars is there, so it's all up to personal taste
