Need some help

Im looking to get a 76 Mustang II Mach 1 for about 5 grand. There is very little rust, one dent in the finder and some scratches due to the hurricane Rita
the interior is orignal red and white minus some faiding from the sun on the carpet is tooks great.. and it needs a thermostat but other then that it runs good
Im just wondering if you think this is a good price let me know..
also I was wondering if anyone know of some good sites to get parts.. for one
thanks
J

Re: Need some help

vintage muscle car values drop so significatly if they are post the 1971 model year. are the numbers matching (vin, engine block, chasis)? if so the resale value will be higher.

my bottom line opinion: i'd pay 5k for a mach 1.

Thanks... that was really helpful... I have been getting mixed opinions about it. But I guess the only real opinion is my own... If I want to spend the money or I don’t... It is a beautiful car...
