New member with 1999 GMC Jimmy front wiper problems

Hello everyone, my name is Mike and up until last week i was the proud owner of a 2004 Chevy Colorado until the motor locked up in it. So, until i have the $$$ to replace the engine, i have a '99 Jimmy 4.3 4x4 that my wife owned when we met. It has 115,000 miles and runs great but has several issues that need fixed. I thought i'd deal with the windshield wipers first, so i need the experts' advice here. The passenger side wiper doesn't move at all , and the drivers side tries to work but will either go all the way off the windshield or stop midway . You can grab either wiper arm and move it freely. Am i looking at replaceing the wiper motor? And how would i go about it?

Thanks in advance!

Tighten the wiper arms. There are nuts than hold them to the posts. If the nuts are tight than pull the cowl and inspect the linkage. If there trying to move or one is and one isn't than the motor is probably working.
