conversion harness

I'm doing a vtec head swap for my car (d16z6) My car is dual-point. I know I need a conversion harness but I don't know which one I need. Is it the OBD0 to OBD1 conversion harness or is it another conversion harness that I need? If it is another one what is it called? Thanks

Re: conversion harness

stated on the harness u were intrested in... DX and Standard models that are DPFI (Dual Point Fuel Injection) must be converted to MPFI for this conversion to work properly. so if ur willing to pay a extra $200 for a respectable reptuable harness is ur choice but it will be sexy and plug n play

Re: conversion harness

Well I am waiting for like hasport drop there prices cause thats only mounts i trust and 800 bucks is kinda steap for having to weld on the passenger side mount...also waiting on for them to make a shifter box...Ryan said some race shop would be starting to make them for our ef's once more people do the swap in our cars...

Re: conversion harness

yeah bro i have to admit layaway would be awesome lol and yeah $800 is a lil nuts. ive seen some really nice custom work with mounting the shifter in ef's..removing the stereo/climate control..its kinda intresting. the whole swap all in all is one hell of a investment but worth it in the end with respect and nice E.T times..and im not a nitrous kinda guy and turbo isnt a option in EF's so id love a all motor K..im sure u seen PACmans setup/vids
