can the front wheel speed sensors be reached
without raising the car on a 99 cavalier?

You have to remove the wheel and look behind the rotor..Its the only thing back there with an electrical connector on it, Its held in place with a small bolt- maybe 7-8mm? Unplug the connector-remove the bolt- the speed sensor is also held in place with a plastic nubby thats inserted into the hub assembly.
