Ok so this ones got me stumped? The car is a 2000 VW passat 2.8l V6(not vr6) auto trans ATQ engine. I replaced the engine with one from the junk yard due to T belt failure. After the transfer everything was great it ran fine and all. Now about 2k miles the car has a no start but cranks strong, heres the wierd thing theres a ticking noise coming from the throttle solenoid, the ABS unit and the shift lock solenoid when the key is turned on. also when the key is on the speedometer will bounce and if you press the accelerator the speed will jump to about 100mph and come back down causing it to add miles on the trip????? When i could get the Snap On scan tool to communicate i got the codes:16730, 16725, 16486, 18010, 17953. My friends saying its a bad or loose ground strap but i think its more!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 00 Passat V6(ATQ) 2.8l
16725 cam pos sensor performance
16486 maf circuit low imput 18010 power supply terminal 30 low voltage 17953 throttle position control malfunction i would say check the wiring harness at the passenger side of the engine, make sure its all ok. next check the power supply relay for ecm its next to the ecm in the box driver side next to windshield ( uses 8mm bolts 6 of them) just take all the relays and fuses out and put them back in also check the fuses in there. also check the engine ground on passenger side under the frame rail under air box other than that I would say either ecm is bad or cluster is bad
