Not so good with Japanese
Hi All,
Just bought a lovely little del sol, and a very nice car it is too, unfortunately all the documentation I have with it is in Japanese....can somebody please talk me through the process of removing the roof?....not sure if its working or not, it does seem to lift out of the boot, but then alarms go off....and I panic.... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Re: Not so good with Japanese
Wow where are you located? You have a JDM del Sol... if you're in the US, you have a headache in front of you getting it registered... if you're in Europe I believe it's a bit easier, but I'm not sure.... as far as Japanese translations, is there a local university or college near you? If so, they should have a foreign language department... post up little flyers.. you'd be surprised what college students will do for $20.

Re: Not so good with Japanese
Hi there,
I am across the pond in the UK, its ok, the car is already registered here, even if the speedo is still in KMs, I am sure I will be able to find a kit to change that. I just don't know if I am operating the electric roof correctly....it seems to work....well sort of. |

Re: Not so good with Japanese
they all work "sort of". There's a shop by you that services them... search for username "mariejader" on this forum to find the shop. Looks like they do good work.
