Post Re: mpfi swap question.......

Well man i can tell ya this the guys on here liek formal words used an the don't liek slang lol i found that out the hard way haha but other then that ya guy i was at the same spot as you i have a 90 dx and at first I did the mpfi swap then i thought at the same time i had all that stuff going on i thought i would just swap out the head an throw in a 95 ex vtec sohc head called the mini-me swap it was very simple and doesnt take alot..got it all up an running and i was racing si civics and integras its an awsome swap...but enyways yes the mpfi swap is not to hard u need these things,a bit of brains, intake manifold, resistor box, some wire to extend some stuff and if you want you can do a head swap but thats another thing Jus do a search on the net or in this forum for a complete overhaul of the swap. Your also need to look up the ecu pin-outs to hook your injectors up. ....... If you can't find the stuff you need for the swap i have everything an i also have the head for sale......... I just stripped the civic an im putting an ls/vtec swap into it oh ya..well if this thread didnt help enough just ask more ?'s buddy...good luck if not

Re: mpfi swap question.......

You also need an Si distributor and PM6 (si) ECU. More fuel certainly makes a difference. Check out www.4thgenerationcivic.com for more mpfi swap details.
