Swapping transmissions..

Hey all, I did get a transmission finaly, for 175 bucks, and it's model #TX, so im in good shape. I was wondering if I have to dis-assemble anything like tirods/control arms when I remove the transmission?
Thanks
-Scott

Re: Swapping transmissions..

yep, control arms come loose too provide enough room to get the axles out of the way.
just a suggestion, $13 bucks on a haynes book would be money well spent.

Re: Swapping transmissions..

My haynes does not say anything about control arms, it just says remove the CV joint from the transaxle.
Thanks
