hunger
so the rowing season has ended (it's been about a month now, the docks had ice on them and it's a little dangerous to carry a $40,000 boat on ice) and since then i haven't really been hungry. I barely eat anything during the day but i'm training almost every day, alternating weights and cardio. i know i need to eat but i just don't notice that wasn't eating.
for example, yesterday (meaning monday) i went almost all day on a banana for breakfast and a bag of chips for lunch, then i did my weights at about 8 until 9:30 and i went home and ate a meal at about 10:30.
I'm not sure what it is, it could be that my body's not used to low physical activity (we aren't on the water for two hours every day training intensly as well as doing erging (rowing machine) for whatever time we were doing) so it isn't telling me to eat alot, i don't think it's depression but it could be something emotional, it could be my subcontious always telling me i need to lose weight (i need to cut 20lbs by september), or something else. any ideas? has this happened to any of you?
