Engine and Tranny
I found an alright deal on a 71 Nova but it does not have a engine or tranny. What would be a good engine and tranny combo that I could put in it for cheap? Thanks, Michael

Re: Engine and Tranny
Any small block Chevy and either a TH-350 or TH-400 will fit without a problem. They came with anything from a useless 4Cyl to a big block 396

Re: Engine and Tranny
Are the TH trannies manual or auto's. I want to get a manual there are so much more fun. Auto's take all the fun out. Thanks again, Michael

Re: Engine and Tranny
I found a 454 with 4-speed tranny. It came out of a 1-ton, but he said it ran strong. The heads have been worked, but its only $850. Do you think thats a good deal? and No Auto for me. This car is strickly for fun. Thanks for the help, Michael
