1g 90-94 Interchangeable parts
Im trying to find all the interchangeable parts out there that will fit my 1st generation eclipse. stuff like will GSX brakes fit on my 1g or i seen Ford Probe Wheels on talons already, hopefully theres people out there who did mods like this....

Any wheels are interchangable as long as they have the same bolt pattern. DSMs have a 5x114.5mm which is the same as 5x4.5". The 2g GSX brakes will work on a 1g GSX, but you will need the 2g caliper, rotor, and pads. Turbo stuff should be fairly interchangable, obviously the FWD and AWD trannys wont, but the engine stuff is all interchangable. The body panels are pretty close, they should go on with out problem (we had a 2g door on Mikes 91 TSI AWD when we got it) but will look a little funny.

sweet, i was out today and i may be wrong but i seen a tsi with mustang cobra wheels on it (instead of the cobra symbol being in the center he changed the caps),,, so i asked the guy driving the car he said that most ford and dsm wheels are interchangeable, as long as they come with lug wheels,
Can you post pics of what 2g doors look like on a 1g.... im interested in that swap
