Soft Top problems, need help!

Hey guys, I have a 97' wrangler with a Besttop soft top. This winter my windows have been fogging up so bad that I cant see out of any of them. They always fogged up in the past, but never this extreme. Its so bad that when I wipe the fog from my driver and passanger side windows water goes everywhere. Does anybody else have this problem? I was thinking of putting Rain-X on the plastic but I wasn't sure if that would harm the windows. Can you think of any reason why it would do this in the first place? I went around the entire top and made sure it was tight all around, I just dont get it, none of the other wranglers I see have anywhere near the condensation I get on my windows. I've never had this problem in the past either. Thanks for any info.

There's way too much moisture inside your vehicle. You are problaby having the heat on or something, then it evaporates and gets on the windows. Not sure about what you should do though.

Are the plastic windows really fussy about what you put on them? Do you guys think that rain X would do the cloudy effect to them?

I had a car, that was given to me in a time of need and the windshield wipers didn't work so I have allot of experience with rain-x. There is nothing abrasive in it but when you put it on and let it dry I think the extensive hand buffing you have to do might put swirls in the plastic if there is any dirt on the window, or even if the cloth is wrong, I don't personally think you would get the "cloudy affect" on it anymore than you would get on glass, I haven't tried it on my Jeep also soft top, I don't think I would.

my advice is goto the jeep place or check out quadratec, or 4 wheel hardware. you can find a product, not sure what it is called off the top of my head, but they do make it for soft top windows that helps calm this problem down some. it solve it completely, but it will help you out.
