Re: Alternator????

one thing that helpes me out is a capacitor.. i have a 88 gt 5.0 with 4 12 kicker cvrs pullin 2600 watts and a 1.5 farad capacitor does the trick for me.. basically what it does is stores the power that the system needs then distributes it as needed with out drawing it straight from the battery which in turn saves the alternator... also it will help if you have dimming head lights

Re: Alternator????

just remember man, you want to match the power you are pulling with the altenator you are using. if you get one returning high amounts back into the battery you can fry it and the cables connecting it. so just be sure before you jump into something...
