GT40/Mustang Engine

just a quick question.
i have recently gotten hold of a 1/24 mustang 350 kit that has a full(ish) 289 cobra engine which i believe to be the same engine as used in one of the GT40 variants. apart from the obvious details such as the type of carbs used and layout of some ancillarties, how accurate would it be to use this engine to complete a GT40 kit?

thanks in advance.

Re: GT40/Mustang Engine

Sorry I cannot be of help to you on this. That sounds like a cool replacement though. I think I'll try that with my Fujimi kit. Are you making a racing version or a regular street one? If it looks believable, I would go for it. But are you going for absolute accuracy? Good luck.
