if you replaced the clutch you should wait a while before getting on it. otherwise you will be buying a new clutch again

I just had my B16A swap completed. I'm not supposed to rev past 4000 rpm for the first 800 miles, at which point we change the oil.

Well unless you striped the engine down and rebuilt it before you installed it then I see no reason why you should have to run in the engine.
After all its a 2nd hand engine remember, and its already been well and truley thrashed in Japan. When I got my car (which is from Japan just like your engine) I did take it easy for a week or two, but that mostly me getting used to an engine that wanted to rev to 8,000 (when my old car with similar HP couldn't make it past 6,500) and being cautious about braking something, or finding something wrong with it. But as long as you put freash oil and new filter in it, and give it a few miles to make sure it all works as it should, I see no reason why you shouldn't just floor it.

yea.. i would say so,, atleast for the first 1000 miles or the first month depending on how much u drive... atleast thats what i was told and did to my car.. when i got my engine work done.. i spent too much money to jus go and destroy my egine right away... so jus be patient.. and break it in gradually..

Exactly! its already been run in in Japan. All you need to do is drive it gently for the first few miles to make sure you did the swap properly, and that nothing in the engine is badly worn or broken. (since its possible the reason the car it was in was scrapped is the engine was going out)
