Radio error message E20 ?

When i put a cd in, one that i buy from the store, for example i just purchases

buzz ballads from musicspace.com and the cd player sais E20 and ejects the disc out.. when i put in another cd from a few years ago it works fine, sometimes it takes a while of putting cd's in repeatedly to get it to read. any cleaning or reset procedure or something?

98 bonnevile stock cd player

Re: Radio error message E20 ?

E20 is a disc read error. either the cd player doesn't like the way the cd was burned, or it's almost time for another CD player. Try a lens cleaning kit to see if it improves.

yeah, try one of the cleaning discs, you don't need to disassemble the radio.
