Tricks to removing power steering pulley?
I will be installing a new power steering pump and wondered if there will be any difficulty with removing the pulley and installing on the new pump.
Is a pulley-puller necessary? |

Re: Tricks to removing power steering pulley?
YES it sure is. They do not jump off when you look at them.
Some parts places rent or loan pullers. The new or rebuilt pump comes with a pulley installer bolt. Good luck MT

Re: Tricks to removing power steering pulley?
I have never had to use a puller on a honda power steering pump pulley. On some years the bolt that holds the pulley on is left handed threads.
