Exclamation 92 4.3(Z) running rough in gear

only in gear does it hesistate and bog down, I did backflush the heater core, and water did get on the engine, Im going to start at the distributer cap, make sure its not cracked to seep water, then move on to vacuum after the sensors are checked.

I just want to know if there is anything special i need to look for, first fuel injected car ever......for me.

Thank you in advance.......

Just a guess, but vacuum leak, possibly in the cruise control somewhere considerating that it only happens wile in gear. It's the only curicut that might open while shifting into gear.
But I just don't know.

I dont know why i make these threads, I went out, had water in the dist cap(moisture) wiped it out, got a new one and it runs just fine again.

This weekend its getting a complete tune up, and all new hoses and vacuum lines.

It's not bad when you make threads.

I've never seen you ask a comon question, so every thing that you discover might help the next person with the same problem.

And you almost always answer them yourself

I had the luck of having a gearhead for a father, 2 years old and there is documented and photographic proof I was turning wrenches.

I just got rid of a street/strip car I built the motor stud by stud, So when something goes wrong I head for the obvious first, then go from there with advice and/or mechanical knowledge I already possess.

I do appreciate the intrest in help though, Its greatly appreciated and noted.

EDIT- I use the search feature, There has never been a greater button on a forum, ever.
It fails to produce what I seek, I ask.
