Finally got logs WOT
I finallly installed my second O2. Took long enough to order one and install it. So, since I had it, I did some logging. Last time I posted logs you said to get readings on WOT, so I did. I couldn't get to redline, there was too much traffic. Got from 2,000rpm - 5,300rpm or so at WOT. I dont have the pics of them, but by looking at them, they look like what they're supposed to be.
The short term and long term fuel trim are perfectly flat at WOT. They stay steady through the whole band. With the timing, it goes from 20 for about 2400rpm - 32rpm, then drops down to 18 at about 4400rpm, then starts dropping down again, then had to let off the gas. So basically, the timing drops a little at a time as the rpm raises. Is this correct? And I got a steady O2 reading at WOT. When from about 90 - 930 (probably 0.09 - 0.93). It stayed pretty level through the whole range. It did drop from the 0.93 - 0.88 or so by the end of the run. That's right, right? Then the SAFC will allow me to change that to what I need. So with that said. With the SAFC... I would set each rpm, so that as the O2 gets the lower readings, the safc would add more fuel, right? Do I make sense? I need a pro... Kevin... where art thou thee? Thanks guys.

Re: Finally got logs WOT
If you're 02 readings lower, then it would be leaning the system out, so if you're wanting to run richer than that would be the thing to do.
The timing sounds right, but my question is, when you start adding fuel and the computer has the timing set to what it expects the fuel delivery to be, how are you going to compensate for that? Last edited by -Josh-; 01-16-2006 at 03:52 PM. |
