d16 motor info
could i put the b16 head on my d16 vtec motor? possibly? just wanted to know if the block map was close enough. thanks

I'm not an expert, infact i'm pretty dumb, but I thought that the block letter has to be the same.

I understood all about the letters, I thought it was all about the sohc, or dohc...all in the head. so i was just ponderong the question.

Correct, B series head wont fit onto the D series block... if you want to go DOHC go pickup a full B16a or dont bother :finger:

if there's a wll theres a way, enough sheet metal, pop rivets, and coat hangers and you can have something as unique as a 1967 four door mustang..
