99 bogging down when started

I have a 99 Bravada and if I don't let it warm up for at least one minute, it bogs down something fierce upon acceleration. I don't think it's a huge deal because I just let it warm up long enough but was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the matter. Thanks.

Re: 99 bogging down when started

Just guessing based on information, I'd say a faulty Air Intake Temp sensor, or a dirty Mass Airflow Sensor..

i agree with corning_d3, but be very careful to follow the r&r when removing and cleaning the IAC. It's an over $100 part. link to r&r and testing procedures for both the IAC and the MAF are here:

Also don't overlook the PCV valve and tubing. it may be sticking or have a weak spring letting crankcase vapors to enter the combustion process before the engine can handle it. it only costs about $2.
