Room Light
On my Primera P11 1,6 SE (1998) about one week ,the interior light don't work.
If i open every doors i have no light, just if i move switch manually on the courtesy light in on position it work.I checked the 10 Amp fuse and is OK,i think probably is the dimmer box that don't work anymore, but i don't know were is located. I have electric schematic of P11-144 but is different from my car. Thanks in advance for help |

If the lamp works in the ON postion the fuse will be ok. i would first check the contacts in the room lamp. sometimes they dont make a good connection with the roller switch. if that is ok i would remove the drivers door switch and check your power and earths. you should see the difference with the feed when you oparate the door switch. the locatin of the timer control unit is under the steering coloum. (black box)

Today i solved my problem. There was a more distance between hot contact and on contact of slide switch.I made a small regulation on side contact and now light work fine.
Thank for your good suggestion. Bye |
