Speedometer/fuel gauge dash light out...

I have a Max 1996 se and a max 2001 se AE that this has happened on both cars. I've read some of you feel the dash compnents of Nissan are
suspect.

On the 2001 se AE the light goes off sometimes and then comes back on for a week or so and then off again???? I think it is tied to how cold it gets outside, but not for sure. It seems when it gets 30` or lower the speedometer/fuel light does not work.

The 1996 se light is out never comes back on.

I suspect there is no easy way to fix these stupid problems, huh??
