I want to remove the right front of my 93 villager, to repare the automatic antenna.
Does anybody know how I should do that? I mean the entire RF body part (don't know how to call it in English) Please help, my car can't go through the carwash now cause the antenna won't go in !!!!!!! thanx a lot in advance. TAFKAH |

Re: rightfront removal 93 villager
Just remove the the bolts that are on the inner "FENDER" and the side marker "SIGNAL LIGHT" Remove the screws on the under side of fender that hold the "WHEEL WELL COVER" and the few bolts behind the joint where the fender and the door meet.
It is alot of work this way. You may want to just remove the wheel well screws and accesse the antenna from there. You will also be better off if you remove the wheel so you will have more room to work. I personally dont see why you cant go thru a carwash. The antenna will not break off that easy. |

Re: rightfront removal 93 villager
thnx a lot for your reply.
Now I know the word, it's fender, thanks. I think I will remove the wheel well first as you said, and if it's not enough I will remove the entire fender. When I go through the carwash my antenna will break I'm sure. Don't know if carwashes in thr Netherlands are different from the ones which are in the USA. Thanks anyway, TAFKAH |

Re: rightfront removal 93 villager
You can do it the job with going thru the wheel well cover with the wheel off of course..HOWEVER, I would invest in some new fasteners; you are bound to break a few.......last time I did this job took me about 30 minutes....BTW, Don't go buying a WHOLE antenna with motor all you probably need is the antenna mast, most likely you broke the plastic cord that wraps around the motor gear
